The accommodation is first class and everything you could wish for is provided, including a gas barbeque. We offer comfortable accommodation and a cosy cottage, with quality beds and super warm doonas. The fireplace in the loungeroom is set and ready for action with kindling and firewood provided nearby for ongoing use.   Our regular customers particularly value "the most magnificent views in Australia, great bushwalking, wildlife, natural fauna, bird life, etc.  and the chance to enjoy real peace and tranquility. It is a wonderful place to get away from it all".

GUEST REVIEWS -

SEP 2009 MELISSA - We really enjoyed our stay. The views were spectacular and the selection of animals was great. The accommodation was comfortable and our hosts were very friendly and helpful. It was especially great for the kids. We live in the city, so for them just having that space to run around freely was fantastic. Boy did they sleep well!

OCT 2009 SIMONE - The Cubby House is a fantastic holiday destination for anyone looking to get away from it all and experience farm life. It's a 9 year old boy's paradise and our son put our 1 night stay level with his trips to Disneyland!! The most unfortunate thing about our visit to The Cubby House was our inability to get a booking for more than 1 night! What a great excuse to return soon.

NOV 2009 ROCHELL - My girlfriends and I stayed at The Cubby House for our annual "girls trip". It was such a wonderful break away from the hustle and bustle. The tranquility was just what we needed. Our hosts were fantastic and made our stay a memorable one. I'm looking forward to bringing the hubby and kids back for some quality family time.

DEC 2009 SARAH - Fantastic stay at The Cubby House for my family (2 children aged 4 and 6). BEAUTIFUL spot, lovely welcoming hosts, lots of hands on with the animals, very comfortable accommodation, well equipped kitchen, Dvd's, games and books. Everything we had hoped for. Thanks very much for having us, hoping we can come again soon. Maybe in the Winter so we can use the fantastic fireplace!

JAN 2010 STEPHANIE - We really loved our stay at The Cubby House. The view was spectacular and The Cubby House was spacious and comfortable. Our host family was fantastic - taking us for a truck ride around their amazing property and showing us local flora and fauna. We also loved the animals that the kids could pat (ducks, chickens, a lamb and a goat). A great family holiday! We'll definately be going back.

MAR 2010 VERONICA - This is an absolutely stunning place to stay. The owners took us on a wonderful tour of the property on the back of a truck - it was great fun. The Cubby House is roomy, extremely comfortable and very well fitted out with everything you need for a perfect holiday. I'm almost reluctant to let too many people know just how fabulous our stay was. Oh, and I'm already booked to go back in a few weeks time. Highly, highly recommended.

MAR 2010 FIONA - The Cubby House is one of those hidden gems. The log cabin has an amazing 180 degrees uninterrupted outlook with great photo opportunities. John and Margaret were the perfect hosts. My 3 year old son loved feeding apples to the mini horses, holding a baby lamb that had been born that morning, collecting eggs from the chook pen, cuddling the sheep dogs and chasing the goats. We will definitely be back.

MAY 2010 VERONICA - This is my second visit and it was even more rewarding than the first. I couldn't recommend this farmstay more highly - it is definitely one of my very favourite places in the whole world. The hosts, Margaret and John and their two children are so very welcoming. The Cubby House is spacious, comfortable and if there is such a thing, I would rate it Spectacular Rustic Five-Star. The photographic opportunity is also outstanding. Highly recommended.

MAY 2010 MARGARET - Words can't describe the beauty of this place. This is peace personified...up in the clouds. We went to specifically take photographs of sunrise and sunset with hopefully some low lying cloud in the valleys. Our wishes were granted. I came away feeling very relaxed and satisfied. John & Margaret made us most welcome, not to mention Clare & Daniel. Thank you so much all of you, we were very comfortable and warm.

Just one of the shots of a sunrise with the valley carpeted in cloud taken by Margaret - May 2010.

MAY 2010 WIN - After my third visit to The Cubby House, I will certainly be back again. John and Margaret are extremely hospitable, the accommodation cannot be faulted and the views are breathtaking, especially at sunset time - great for photographers. I am continually telling friends about "The Cubby House".

JUL 2010 LISA - Thank you Margaret and John for a wonderful holiday, not only do you have a great property at an absolutely magical location but you have thought of everything, we couldn't think of anything that we thought was missing! The special touch of stoking our fire and leaving outside lights on for us when you knew we were going to be late "home" was just wonderful. Your true country hospitality just added to the experience. We've already booked in for next year!

JUL 2010 KATRINA AND CRAIG - Recommended 4 out of 5. We had a fabulous stay. Lovely views and atmosphere! We will return in a warmer month.

The kids loved the animals and Margaret and John were so welcoming. The kids loved the truck ride and the beautiful gift that John gave the kids was very special. We had three families staying there and we were all very comfortable and enjoyed the stay very much. Would love to return and totally recommend it.

NOV 2011 LISA - Recommended, 5 out of 5. This was the second time we stayed at The Cubby House and it won't be our last!
