GUEST REVIEWS -
MAR 2007 DENISE - Great views really comfortable well equipped peacefull. A wonderful place to get away from it all, will be back for longer next time.
APR 2007 JOHN & JUDITH - We had the pleasure of spending Easter 2007 at The Cubby House minding our 2 grandchildren, Jack aged 6 and Charlotte aged 4, both of whom are city kids. It was a perfect location with spectacular views over the amazing Capertee Valley, plenty of bush walks and bird life, etc. The accommodation was first class and everything you could wish for was provided including a gas BBQ. The beds had super warm doonas and the fireplace in the loungeroom was set and ready for action with kindling and firewood provided for ongoing use. A bonus for us was Margaret and John's 2 kids, Daniel and Clare, who were great companions for our 2 and took great pleasure in sharing the many aspects of the farm including sheep and Max the dog. For a family, a couple or a group of friends we have no reservations in recommending the property for a stay in the country.
JUN 2007 IAN - We loved the place. Some of the best views in the State, great bushwalking tracks, and a really comfortable and cosy cottage, with quality beds. Was a great break for us and a chance to enjoy real peace and quiet. All this and only a 2.5 hour drive from home - we'll definetly be back.
JUL 2007 VANESSA - We really enjoyed our stay at The Cubby House. The wood fire was already lit on arrival and the house was cosy and comfortable. On waking we were blown away by the absolutely stunning views. Our daughter immediately made a friend in the farmers daughter, Clare, and they played happily which was great. She also loved getting close to the sheep and lambs. The area is a great base for visiting Mudgee and wine tasting etc. I would thoroughly recommend a visit.
SEPT 2007 LYNN - FANTASTIC - Can't speak highly enough about the place. Magnificent views, great hosts, comfortable accommoation, sheep were lambing, chooks supplied us with beautiful eggs, 4WD tour on property, kids loved it, we've booked again.

JUNE 2008 JOHN & MARILYN - What a wonderful place to sit back, relax and soak up the wonderful views. John, Margaret & Clare were great hosts and Clare was a great companion for our 3 year old granddaughter, they had lots of fun riding their bikes on the verandah and feeding the baby goat. The guided 4WD tour of the property was very interesting and lots of photographs were taken. A few days definitely to remember and look forward to another few days in the future.
